THE SHANNON STIRNWEIS:
COLLECTION OF ILLUSTRATIONS
Born in Portland, Oregon, 1931. Served in the US Army as an illustrator in Germany. Moved to New York City ad began his career as a free lancing illustrator for adventure pulps and children's books. Illustrating for magazines including Argosy, Boy's Life, Time, Show, Outdoor Life and Field and Stream. He furthered his career by illustrating covers for virtually all NY paperback publishers and illustrated of thirty children's books.
More than 125 lots of original illustations created for books and various publications including: Adventure, Western, Suspense, Romance Pulps and other subjects.
